Results obtained from test systems such as Ta+ + Ne/N2/CO have demonstrated the sensitivity of the method, which we expect to be established as a new tool for static (structure) and dynamic (fragmentation, energy transfer, reactivity, etc.) studies of large gas-phase molecules and clusters
