Tamara F. Gundogdu is a PhD student at the University of Crete in Material Science Department and a  researcher at the Theoretical and Computational Division of the IESL- FORTH. She completed her Master of Science Degree in Physics in Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul) in 2001. She worked as a research and teaching assistant in Yildiz Technical University in Physics department for four years. Currently she works as a teaching assistant in University of Crete in Material Science Department and as a researcher in IESL of FORTH in photonics laboratory. Her research is on the theoretical and experimental studies of left handed materials. She has 3 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
