Dr. Anne-Laure Fehrembach is a researcher at the “Institut Fresnel”, in the CLARTE (Control of Light and Analysis of Radiation: Treatment with Electromagnetics) group. During her PhD (2000 to 2003), she worked on modeling the interaction of light with photonic crystal slabs. The application goals of her research were ultra-selective filtering of telecommunication signals, and the control of spontaneous light emission. Since then, she has also taken an interest in the electromagnetic studies of nano-holes (periodic or single) pierced in metallic layers. She spent one year in the Laboratoire d’Optique P-M Duffieux in Besan?on (France) before joining the “Institut Fresnel”. She has co-authored 9 publications and 1 patent. In addition to her regular teaching duties, she oversees various physics research projects for postgraduate students.
