I was born in Thessaloniki in 1982. I received my
diploma in Electrical Engineering and her Doctorate degree from the
Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki, in 2006 and 2012, respectively. Since March 2013 I am
a postdoctoral researcher at Photonic-, Phononic- and Meta-
Materials (PPM) Group, Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas
(FORTH), Institute of Electronic structure and Laser (IESL). My
research interests include the properties of electromagnetic waves
interacting with periodic and complex media with special emphasis on
photonic crystals and metamaterials.
